Leadership is accomplished by being an example
Scriptures show us that righteous leadership is
not achieved by being above anyone but rather by
one’s willingness to live out an example of how
others are to follow. Godly leadership should
be recognized as, “being one” with those that
are following their example in Christ.
John 14:12.
"Most
assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me,
the works that I do he will do also; and greater
works than these he will do, because I go to My
Father.
Philippians 3:17.
Brethren, join in following my example, and note
those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern.
1 Corinthians 11:1.
Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ.
1 Corinthians 4:16.
Therefore I urge you, imitate me. 17. For this
reason I have sent Timothy to you, who is my
beloved and faithful son in the Lord, who will
remind you of my ways in Christ, as I teach
everywhere in every church.
Acts 20:35.
"I have shown you in every way, by laboring like
this, that you must support the weak. And
remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He
said, `It is more blessed to give than to
receive.' ''
